Who Am I?

Hi! My name’s Ellie and I’m a WSET qualified Wine Communicator based in the Surrey Hills, UK. I’ve been in the industry for four years now, but I haven’t always been into wine! After lockdown I got a part time job in my local bottle shop - and fell in love! I’m a big foodie and I enjoy nothing more than spending an afternoon in the kitchen cooking and experimenting, so discovering wines and how they can compliment certain foods was eye opening for me. I know all too well how overwhelming learning about wine can be, and sometimes even wine events that are supposed to be fun and informative, can feel a little isolating for newbies. I’m on a mission to make wine fun and accessible to everyone, and to deepen peoples’ knowledge and passion, proving that you don’t need to come from wine or money to understand and enjoy what’s in your glass.
